To uphold the highest construction standards, he supervised the extraction of asphalt cores, which are essential for evaluating the quality and durability of the materials used. These core samples undergo rigorous testing to verify compliance with structural and safety requirements. Monitoring Officer emphasized the importance of consistent sampling and testing, suggesting that refining material specifications, particularly in heavy-load areas or variable weather conditions, could enhance road durability. Recommendations included the use of higher-grade asphalt or modified binders to extend the lifespan of the infrastructure.
