What We Do
Role of Monitoring & Evaluation in evidence based policy making
The role of monitoring and evaluation in evidence-based policy making is crucial and of strategic nature in order to improve relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of policy reforms. It helps to put forward evidence-based policy options to facilitate public argumentation among policy makers and societal stakeholders, and facilitate the selection of policies. In addition, monitoring and evaluation is fundamental not only for evidence-based policy making but also for evidence-based management, and evidence-based accountability.
